I’m going to write a longer piece on this later in the week, but this seems to be a good overview of the situation in Istanbul, Turkey, where protesters have gathered to prevent the demolition of a city park to build a shopping mall. You’ve probably heard about the attack on a British soldier in Woolwich, Britain. The ICC plans to prosecute Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of the late Muammar Gaddafi, for crimes against humanity during the 2011 conflict in Libya. The Libyan government is appealing that decision. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/africa/2013/06/20136220285828687.html
